The Town of Kennebunk, Maine, is celebrating its past, present, and future by bringing back Old Home Week: July 2 – 7, 2012. The community is revitalizing a century old tradition with family events including a local artists and craftsmen show (download application to exhibit!) , farmers market, family traditions parade (Application Coming Soon), farmers market, musical performances, local history displays, sporting events, carnival games, petting zoo, church pie contest, Rotary chicken barbeque, antique auto show, variety show and so much more! This is a celebration of local history and culture, gathering family, friends, acquaintances and summer guests. Nobody is an outsider at Old Home Week!

History Note: In the 19th Century, Old Home Week began as a New England tradition for towns and villages to invite people who grew up there as children to come back and visit the “Old Home” or homestead.
